combination valve ?? Steve do you mean the Brake Proportioning Valve that sits under the master cylinder ? Be careful if air has got into the system because it is often difficult to bleed the master cyl. and valve and small bubbles of air make the brakes feel weak and/or spongey You missed a good Pontiac GTO at The Goat Sunday, ablack one with deep red trim |

I think you mean the tube nut and there are 3 thread sizes 3/8" 1/2" and 9/16" for the 3/16" tube nut, the one mostly used is the 3/8" which has a UNF thread but they are the type without a lead which means the thread goes all the way to the end of the nut (unlike the UK version so don't try those as they only bit with a couple of threads and then tare the thread out and damage it) Anyway I'm sure I have all 3 types if you need some, and the nuts for the 1/4" pipe as well And when you bleed it just let gravity do the work don't pump it as sometimes the valve will go across and stick so you won't get any fluid through, you can get around that if its happened so don't worry. Let me know |
