I think that back spacing is OK for 1st and 2nd gens, might have to double check front. Sizes aren't that generous wide, so you'd be a looking at 225 and 245 wide tyres, which in 18" are gonna look quite small.. not too cheap either...

your right not to wide .....about 1" less than i want so that would make the back spacings correct i guess????? and to be honest to get the same type wheels (8" & 9") from summit via customville would only be £150 more and ive got comeback if there faulty...
also notice cash payment only so no paypal cover

Ive tried northants and not the cheapest (but were very helpfull ) and dont stock most of the wheels i like....Raceways a bit too far so Customville are the best bet i just need to be sure the wheels i order fit 100%

When I had my Mustang I saw loads of times people buying 'make do' wheels then faffing around with spacers and cutting bits of inner arch trim etc. I bought the correct items from Ebay USA. Some will deliver international no problem with a great track record of doing so.
Delivered to the UK in 5 days and only £70 to pay. The postage worked out about £150 at the time but the wheels were rare, a perfect fit and very well priced.

Worth a thought mate.

If you're looking for 18's and want to do it cheaper, go the BMW wheel route.. 5,6, or 7 series fit in general, might need a rear spacer though.

2 minute search on ebay brought these up . E34 5series fit - which is fine. Pictured with rubber but not 100% sure if with tyres, and doesn't state width.. .£200 buy now though.

or these Parallel's for £200 which look great on F-bodies..

bit more for these, but better

Aha.. sticking with the old school look, but going up in size I guess... that indeed will cost ya, Torque Thrust II stylees..

12th May I'm helping babysit about 100 TVR's on a drive round London, finishing at Brooklands for a display. It's an absolute blast and honoured I got asked to shepherd them again this year.. Pic below on the famous patina'd banking from last Octobers visit
