Hello,
I want to say I am happy to be on this site. I am in Indiana, USA. Hopefully I can add to your information source on the site, and I hope you can help me find information so I can trace the history of my 1967 Camaro. It is a German Spec 1967 Camaro I purchased In Wiesbaden Germany. The signs on the car show a long history of Racing in Europe before I purchased it and slipped it off back to the states. I also hope to be able to help you find parts and things you can not find there.

You can see the spot where the Exhaust exits out the side, and you can also see the places where the cuts were made for the suspension.

Yes it is on the Rotisserie. That is a Before picture. I will make a list to show the build progress on this car.

Welcome aboard!
It's great to hear of an old racer been saved. There were a few of these racing in Europe back in the day. Do you know who raced the car or where it competed? You might find something on here: http://homepage.mac.com/frank_de_jong/index.html
A good place to ask would be in the ' Motorsports History' section of http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/index.php?
I was wondering about the rear arches on your car. They look like 'universal flares' as i've seen very similar one's on Saab and Volvo Rallycross racers in Europe.
What are your plans for the car? Are you going to race it or turn it back stock? Make sure you keep us informed! Meanwhile, here's something to wet your appetite: Martin Thomas having a 'tear up' with Mike Crabtree and Gerry Marshall at the old Crystal Palace circuit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY5zdnGvT0c

When I purchased the car it was active at HARA Hanau Race Track with Drag Racing. It was purchased from a team who had road raced it till then. Everything else I have had to piece together. Other than the body modifications, the factory brakes were modified, with the top tabs cut off and the caliper machined to accept the larger Corvette pad.

New Loaded Caliper, Not Modified, you can see the top tab in place.

Mine Rebuilt. Much improved from where it was in the previous picture.

The car has been in Autocross and Drag Racing since it came back to the states, but now it is in the middle of a complete overhaul.

There are hundreds of pictures on this restoration on Photobucket,

Feel free to look through them for ideas, and to see just how off my rocker I may be!
