Car Details:1969 Z28 camaro drag car "Joyrider" 572 CI
had the call from john the camaro is all ready to be picked up :D

So since last time it was in my garage it has got new engine the TH400 has stripped and new parts installed . it has gained some wheelie bars and a parachute and has been corner wieight the the ladder bar / geometery checked and adjusted.

Im picking it tuesday so I will post some pics when its back home

You need more carburetion there ... I've got a lovely Inglese induction system with 4 x Weber 48 IDA race carbs ... comes with a free car !!!!! lol

Looking good :thumbup: , don't forget to keep us informed as to how the car does & post up plenty of pics. You got your club decals on it yet?? :lol:

Is that gold leaf on the graphics on the rear 1/4 panels? Never noticed it before.

Club decal proudly displayed in the back window !

And yes has gold leaf on the rear quaters and around the lettering

The car will be getting used with no gas till mid season till I get a good base line. I am at York Raceway easter Sunday and Monday to do some testing, not really hopefull for any good time as the track isnt the best this time of year, but I will be trying.

Just back from York raceway where I was shaking the car down. We had good weather for the 2 days and managed a new pb of 9.7 @ 138. Im very pleased with that on a unpreped track .

I few little things to sort before the next out the main is to add some rim screws as the wheels are spinning in the tyre
