I replaced all my rear bulb holders about 10 years ago and promptly forgot the codes or where I found them.

Of course now they all needed a sort out- usual things they would pop out, bad earths etc etc

Anyway after much research I have now found the answer!

managed to find the more or less correct versions and which are now fitted to Camilla

The Lucas code is 518041. (stop and tail) not sure what indicator is

They come off early Triumphs Spitfires dolomites Stags etc

And look like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350738411712? ... 1423.l2649

You need to take off two of the securing blades – just make sure it isn’t the earth one (as I did)
Now all I need are some yellow indicator bulbs- save me painting them!

Now found yellow glass paint (which be warned takes a long time to dry)

use a bulb holder from a container that holds all those screw in halogen bulbs that we all use in bathrooms and kitchens etc and let them dry..........hanging the right way round

mine are doing that right now!!

Nice work TC! I've gone for LED's all around... you can now get LED indicator bulbs that have LEDs facing the front and sides so you get a reflection off of the, erm, reflectors in the housing. SMD's tend to be quite be bright (i know that from looking directly into one without realising how bright it was... mini arc eye) :)

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
