Hello,
I have a bit of a quandry, i have a 68 Camaro and need a roof brace kit, but i only need the center cross piece
would that be the same piece in a 69 roof brace kit?, i mean could i use the cross piece out of a 69 roof brace kit for a 68 car being as it's the same roof skin for all 3 years 67-69? only the shipping on the 69 kit is cheaper to th UK, it's annoying that they don't sell the parts seperatey but hey.
Or if anyone has a roof brace they need to get rid off
The roof had a sunroof cut into it in it's past  and later filled in with all sorts of stuff, it now has a brand new roof skin but no brace as that was chopped out to make way for the sunroof i imagine.

Thanks

Pete

Why do you need the brace?

I have often thought of removing Butch's to save all that weight high up!

Haven't done so yet though!

Really?, ok. I thought the roofskin might vibrate a bit, or if i had a really fat cat sitting on the roof didn't want it to bend

I'll need something to fix the interior dome light to, in that case I'll prob just get the bodyshop to make something up to go in place.
cheapest i seen is on ebay for $106, but shipping is around $400 to the uk and i dont think it's worth it really.
Thanks mate, I think I made my mind up about that now.
