I have just found and used this company called Long Life Exhaust Centre. They have branches up and down the country but the one I used was in Peterborough. They build and fit individual exhausts systems to fit any car from stainless steel. They were of great help to me and I will post the full story later. There web site is www.longlife.co.uk

So if anybody is looking for a stainless exhaust check out these people first.

Cheers Gerry

My exhaust is a custom Longlife system built by Dan at their Carshalton branch.... They seem to know their stuff at that particular place. I've been told the quality and service varies alot as they are all franchises.

I can give a thumbs up for Dan at the Carshalton branch. He did a cat back stainless system for my M3 and I have no complaints. Interestly when I took my car in there was a black roadrunner having a complete system made, the welding was first class and Dan said it sounded awesome when it was done. I think the price was around £700 but the owner supplied his own headers and open pipe cutouts. I may take my '68 there although Rocky being a Magnaflow dealer may also tempt me :)
