  • hi all im in need of a working 700r4 box, i was unfortunately sold one with no 3/4 clutch as a good working box and now left outof pocket woth 2 dud boxes and camt afford rebuild cost, can anyone help

Car Details:79' camaro road & track day toy. 383 stroker, 5 speed TKO trans, lots of suspension stuff, 13" Vette brakes, 18" wheels.
Location:Luton
Was thinking it's probably worth it and cheaper to get one of them fixed than buying another 2nd hand unchecked box.. Might even get some core charge cash back for the other box to help pay too..

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
First off, how do you know 3rd and 4th are not working ?
Is the TV cable geometry correct at the carb, assuming you have a carb ?
If the TV cable setup is not correct and you are´nt pulling enough pressure
you won´t get your shifts.

Location:Norfolk
Depending on where you are I can rebuild it for you... I'll charge less than the 'shop' will and give you discount on the second one as a core, slightly depending on the exact variant of it. Need a little more info.
