I'm looking to change my TH350 over for a 700R4 in my 1977 Camaro (Bumblebee needs more gears) I'm doing quite a few miles now and would like to get an overdrive transmission to help with the economy issues. Does anybody have any of the parts i need or have done this conversion and can advise all the parts I need to complete the swop. Thanks Si |

Flak monkey is doing a swap to a 4L80, so his 700R4 he put in his 2nd gen might be up for grabs... ? |

Just saw Rocky has some new stock, and breaking a 3rd gen Camaro and Firebird, which will likely both have 700r4.. no idea if either have trans available |

If you can find a later 30 spline one in the UK - and they do come up for £150-200 regularly - I can build you a decent spec one (500hp/500lbft rated) using that core for around £750 |

That's good price. Before i went manual about 5 years ago, Alders quoted me about 2k for a built 700r4.
