At £40 that's reasonable why bother with well used 2nd hand one's that might not have much live left in them as I believe this is a common problem caused by the weight of the bonnet.

Has any one got a pair of bonnet struts/lifts, they are about £40 from Rockauto. There must be some second hand ones in this country. Also a starter motor for a 5.0L David |
