i need a kickdown cable for my 3rd gen camaro, i cant get one any where for about 3 weeks, its all i need to take car for an mot, please say someone has one |

I don't the car would fail an MOT without one ? I don't know much about auto boxes but if this cable is only for kick-down and the car drives fine without it then get your MOT and worry about it later. |

the cable makes the transmission pressure go up when you accelerate, with out it there's no pressure in gear box and it gets stuck in 1st, so definatly need one |

Ah, ok. Sorry. Have you tried the POC website, I'm sure the Firebird of a similar age had the same cable and people there break cars quite often. |

thats worth a try, i can get one new but they said will take 3 to 4 weeks bit of a pain |
