After thorough examination it looks like my sump has seen better days and has a pinhole causing oil to leak everywhere. Its also got plenty of dents in it.

Has anyone got a post 85 (one piece rear main seal) sump kicking about thats in good solid condition?

Would ideally like to get hold of one before next weekend.

Thanks :)

Thanks, they aren't in stock in the UK though. :(

Found a shop that may have them in stock a little cheaper than Real Steel as well...will have to wait and see.

Just a word of warning - Basic aftermarket sump pans (ie, the nice shiney chrome ones... ) have virtually no baffling, and due to the oil pick up pipe design, it's very easy to cause starvation on a long bend if you start throwing the car around a bit, which coming from a Mitsi GTO I suspect you might...

Hi Simon,

I am sorted for a sump for my current 305 but do need one for my 350 so I would still be interested :) plus my 305 is a late model so needs a post 85 sump :)

Not going to Billing though as I will be working on the car keeping the fluids in it

David
