Hi All
Hopefully somebody can help or point me in the right direction.
I am currently gathering parts together to fit a T56 6speed box (out of a 94 on Camaro G/Box part number 1386-000-16) to go in to my 1979 Z28 Camaro.
Unfortunately there is a component missing from the side of the box.
This is described on the parts sheet as "Clutch actuator housing".
It is basically a small alloy spacer that fits between the bellhousing and the hydralic cylinder.
I have added some images below.
GM are unable to supply the part as it is now discontinued.
Does anyone have any contacts or suggestions who to try.

Thanks for looking

I know someone who used to work for a place that rebuilt a lot of T56s. I will have a chat with them later today.

No luck I'm afraid, he is strictly internals only. I would guess it would be reasonably easy to make something up from an aluminium billet if you can get access to a pillar drill?

Thanks for checking for me Dave.
I have somebody looking in to getting a machine shop to cut me something from billet at the moment.
Thought it was worth a try if any body had one....

Thanks for that information.
I have just received the part from them.
Excellent service and very prompt delivery.
If any body is struggling to find gearbox parts these are the people to speak to.

I will be putting a link to them in the suppliers area of the site.

Neil once again thanks for your help.
