hi all hope someone can help iam looking for a 4bbl carb so i can run my engine up i bought a holley a while back and it leaks fuel from every were and is over fueling real bad the fuel was driping out of the exhaust so i guess the carb must be shot so if anyone can help me please.

Dude, just rebuild the Holley. You can get the rebuild kits from Summit Racing, Jegs, etc.. Much less than a new carb. If it's not something you trust yourself with, I'm sure there's others in here who know someone on your side of the Atlantic that can rebuild it for you....check these sites. You need to know which carb you have.

my advice here is to go SMALL!

had endless problems with a 600 cfm on Jeep 360

went back to a 390 cfm = no problems

Camilla runs simialr 390 cfm on stock 327 chev

= reasonable economy as well.

BTW Butch now has an 850 cfm- but ran 500 bhp with a 750 cfm

I had the same problem with my 750cfm holley, the vacuum had perished and was leaking fuel everywhere. Changed to an edelbrock 600 with heat dissipaters and so far so good. I probably had too much carb for my 350 anyway.
