also surprisingly told that florida is a wet state best to look in places like California or dallas/texas
Ye the thing with Florida is humidity - they rust from the inside out, whereas cars in the rust belt rust from the outside in.

It's worth noting in the search, that the cars history will be important when buying an Arizona / Nevada / Cali car... it could have lived most of its life in the rust belt and only spent the last few years / decade in the desert belt. Unfortunately a dry state car doesn't guarantee rust free, it may have even started out there, then spent a lot of its life in other parts of the U.S and picked up rust there and then ended up back in a dry state. Sorry not trying to put you off, just trying to help make sure you get the right car for the right money. Dry state is not far off being the new "barn find" that's seems to be the recent fashion. Hope that helps in your search!

Nice find oddball!

Just a heads up on that one - looking at the pics, the drain plugs are missing from the floor pan, you can see the underside of the carpet in the pics of the underneath. Won't be dry for long with our weather lol.

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

thanks for the florida info. just spoke to a seller of a nice Camaro in florida and he said to me if it is a coastal car yes they can have these issues on the flip side if in too hot a state it can be bad for paintwork and rubber seals

for me it is a matter of trying to find a car that has a good body for the right price or pay that little bit more for one that has been restored

saw these two in florida not a fan of white or big block but these do look good
