Hi Flak monkey.

Well here is the deal. I have a nice non world class t5 in my IROC at present. It was rebuilt in 2003 by a transmission company in hertfordshire (have the receipt somewhere) when it was in the car me and Rocky took it out of (86 IROC). It has done 6k milese since then.

The trans is very smooth and shifts perfectly. There is some gear whine but from what I have read up on, when the box was rebuilt they more than probably used aftermarket gears which are straighter cut than the standard ones hence a little more noise.

It weeps a miniscule amount of oil when left in the garage for a while so would benefit from a seal kit or sealant.

I am having Rocky build me up a t5 fom scratch with a hardened case and G force bits so that when I decide to get a supercharger or similar the box is ready to handle it.

It's, in my opinion a good used T5.

I am hoping Rocky can start work on mine in March and so the box currently in my car will become available at the same time.

It will just be the box and a spare stock shifter I have. Let me know if interested and between me and Rocky we can sort out a deal.

Thanks,
Felix
