I know it's not a Camaro (sorry about that  ) but it needs to go so I can pick my Camaro up....

Probably not to most peoples tastes on here, but you never know. Open to any offers too

Immaculate condition Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo.

Looking for around £3,250

0-60mph in 5.2 seconds
300bhp and 315lbft

A true Japanese Supercar at a fraction of the price of the others, its a bit more special as well.

Imported from Japan in 2008 and covered less than 10k miles in the UK
65k miles - car is very clean inside and out including underneath - any inspection welcome.
MOT til April 2012
Tax til October 2011

It had 85053km on the clocks when imported (52,850miles) - from the first UK MOT cert in Oct 2008. It was then converted to read in miles, but the odometer not changed. It was showing 94,500 when I bought it. In the time I have owned it its covered around 3000 miles. All faultless.

6 speed manual - looks as if its been fitted with a reconditioned box by the previous owner.
One of the last of the fully specced cars
Active aero (front splitter and rear spoiler) - works
Active exhaust - works
Electronic controlled suspension - works
Climate control - works but could do with a re-gas
4 wheel steer - working and no leaks
4 wheel drive
Electric seats - working
Moonroof
2 keys
Thatcham Cat 2 Immobilser - required by most insurance companies
Grey cloth interior
Electric folding mirrors

Completely original spec, no modifications.

4 new Bridgestone RE050 tyres (cost over £450)
Full 4 wheel alignment carried out
Cambelt service done less than 1 month ago - including belt, tensioner, idlers and water pump (cost over £600 inc parts and labour)
All fluids changed in April (Engine, gearbox, transfer box, brake fluid)
M1144 Mintex rear brake pads
New front ARB bushes and drop links
Alpine Stereo and speakers fitted in place of originals, still have the original Japanese stereo too.

Basically its a very clean, original specification car and I doubt there are many as clean or mechanically sound in the UK. Well maintained and looked after, with only 2 owners in the UK.

Exterior:
Unfaded red. In superb condition for its age. A few minor stone chips to front and a couple of minor blemishes, but nothing unusual for a 5 year old car let alone a 16 year old one. Wheels all in excellent condition. Very clean underneath, no rust anywhere. Active aero fully functional. Needs a new power aerial - £30 from the GTO Doctor.

Interior:
Grey cloth trim. Clean, no stains. All in good condition, small repair to drivers bolster (see photos) hardly noticeable. Again nothing unusual for the mileage or age, and I would say well above average condition. Climate control working but needs regassing. All electronic gizmos and gadgets fully operational. Vinyl on doors a little loose (see photos below) again easy/cheap to put right

Engine/gearbox:
Excellent oil pressure, no knocks, rattles or funny noises. Cambelt service carried out. Doesn't burn any oil, no oil in turbo pipes. Pulls smoothly in every gear. Gearbox a little tight when cold but smooth when hot - nothing unusual in these cars, also looks as if it has had a reconditioned gearbox fitted by previous owner. All oils and fluids changed 2000miles ago.

Running gear:
No leaks to power steering racks front or rear. Brakes good all round, serviced, with new pads fitted to rears. Electronic suspension all working in both Tour and Sport modes.

The only very minor fault is that the gearstick doesn't quite spring back to the central position (3rd/4th) from the 1st/2nd position which doesn't bother me that much as you quickly get used to it. It appears to just be a slightly tight cable or lazy spring on the gearstick as it's better when its been lubed up. Would be very cheap to put right anyway and doesn't detract from the car in any way.

All in all its a great car and I am sure you won't be disaapointed. Everything that's normally an issue with these cars has been sorted, leaving you with a car you can just enjoy driving.

Very fast and comfy on long journeys, but handles brilliantly in 'sport' mode

Insurance is cheap on classic policies (car is over 15 years old) Parts are really easy to get and cheap, nearly all available next day through GTO Doctor so no problems there.

So all in all you are getting one hell of a car thats cheap to tax, cheap to insure, cheap for parts and not that bad on fuel.

It owes me considerably more than double the listed price!....you'll struggle to find one as clean anywhere...

Any questions please ask - see below for lots more large pics showing overall condition.
