Post subject: | Wanna fast estate car.. ? My Mitsubishi VR4 for sale. |
So time has come to move on my old Mitsubishi VR4. It's a brilliant car that'll do 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds and out-handle most road cars due to the 4 Wheel Drive EVO derived suspension and rear AYC. With the upgrades I have on mine, being manual, moonroof and with the Brembos and Leather interior it's a rare beast indeed. PRICE: £2995 contact me at: stu@lettuceheads.com Full Spec Respray in Feb 2009 - now debadged Full Black leather 'Coty' interior Tanabe Sustec Pro Coilovers Brembo Brakes from an EVO 7 all round Uprated Lash Adjusters fitted Greddy engine oil cooler and remote filter kit Bailey 'Vent To Air' Dump/Blow Off valve K&N Panel Air filter custom downpipes 3" custom stainless exhaust Custom 200 Cell Sports Catalytic Converter by 'Powerflow' Greddy Profec Spec II turbo boost controller 8 x 18" 'Ultralite' A-Tec lightweight wheels with 235/40/18 tyres Rear arches Rolled Clear side repeaters UK spec glass headlights with HID's LED front sidelights Momo EVO 6 Steering Wheel All interior lights LED Climate control illumination converted to LED's Kenwood CD/Radio with aux input mini jack in glovebox Front speakers replaced with Kenwood drivers Autometer Boost gauge Swoosh volt & Oil pressure gauges Aluminium Gear knob Rear tailgate window tint to match side privacy glass Toad CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser I've always tried to use Shell Optimax/V-Power whenever possible, engine oil has always been replaced at 4500 or less with top quality Amsoil, Castrol Edge, Silkolene, or Gulf Racing. AYC has also been changed at 4500 intervals using Mitsubishi fluids. The boost has never been set at more than 12 psi so the engine has never been subjected to loads of boost. The main mechanical components were swapped from my old car at 60,000 miles, the 'actual' mileage on the engine, gearbox, transfer box, brakes, all suspension etc.. is approximately 85,000 or less, not the 114,000 on the clock, and some of this will be in Km from Japan too. Bad Bits: The car is in presentable order, but as it is my daily driver it shows the wear and tear of a used but loved vehicle. It has a few bubbles on the paint starting, but nothing serious, and the wheels were refurbished just over 2 years ago, but now have a few kerb rashes. Aircon could do with a recharge.. Work carried out Engine mounts replaced - June 2006 New Battery - Sep 2008 New Radiator - March 2009 Front lower arms replaced under re-call - April 2009 EBC Redstuff front Pads and Camskill slotted/drilled front discs - Aug 2009 New reverse light switch - Aug 2009 New fuel Filter - Aug 2009 New steering arm & track end - aug 2009 New rear roll bar bushes fitted - Nov 2009 'Exedy' EVO 9 clutch fitted with skimmed EVO 9 flywheel with Nick Mann spacer/bolts - March 2010 New NGK Iridium Spark plugs - March 2010 Turbos replaced with lower mileage facelift s/h ones - April 2010 Steering Rack, and column replaced with newer lower mileage items - April 2010 Front springs replaced with new 'Tanabe' ones - April 2010 Aircon Receiver/Dryer replaced - June 2010 2 x ABS reluctor rings replaced - Sep 2010 I intend to keep the reg plate, so I'll get a new one applied for asap. Has a years new MOT, and Road Tax til November. I have receipts for pretty much everything. The car is viewable in Wembley NW London. No PX's, No silly offers... |
