Dam, haven't seen 2nd gens for a while, then like a bus, 2 appear at once :)

£450 starting pricing, and the guy recommends our very own Rocky to do the work hehe

No engine, no wheels and needing a full restoration on a 74'.. It might only be useful as a spares car unfortunately.. :(

I do hope it goes to someone that will restore it though..

so here's a big question... why do people buy a car to turn it into a parts car? I know that the previous owner of my car did just that, he bought another for the parts. so, why not just keep that first one if everything was worth taking out. but my main thought is... if you need parts... buy them, NPD, Classic industries etc will do nearly everything for you. and it will be new and probably less work. and then there's another camaro left in the world. sorry for my ignorance on the matter, lack of understanding is all!!

I think if a car is so rotten and requires a huge investment of time it can't be worth it to many.
Other factors too like a bent chassis, mismatching parts/interior.

It is a shame I agree, but it's basic economics unforunately, as if you have to pay someone to do all the work that could go into £20k or £30k, or more.. so that even in tip top condition a good 74' Camaro will only be worth what.. £15k at most ?

FYI the camaro went for £720.00. not bad!!

Ye good point about the chasis etc, didn't think about that. I guess too if i car had a massive side collision, you would be able to salvage one half etc. I guess further to that you woulld only spend that 20k on an SS or special editionl, as opposed to a "run of the mill" version. Thanks for the insight :)
