and then to cap it all off given my position it looks like the best thing for me to do will be to sell the SS, I really can't justify using her as often as I'm going to have to and so am probably going to buy something running on devil juice (aka diesel)... currently thinking along the lines of 406 coupe or MGZT both of which should top 50mpg on a run (as well as having some street presence!)
just curious to see if there's anyone looking for an SS in particular or if there's any interest in general. Usual SS spec A4, leather, CC, steering wheel stereo controls (a la TransAm) etc etc. Unusually this is a hard top SS (apparently this is v.rare) so no problems with leaky t-tops and a far more rigid body if you're bothered about that. Other than that it has a Parrot Mki 9100 fitted so hands free for telephone calls as well as iPod functionality (or USB). Fully striped up with 35th anniversary stripes, custom dials (these are guaranteed unique to the car and are quite stunning), anthracite 17" 10 spoke alloys. Michelin pilots on the rear, nearly new, Dunlops on the front, about 3.5mm. Condition-wise it's not a show car but a good tidy usable FUN drive...
I'd be looking for offers over £7.25k which will include the non-age related plate

take it out & enjoy it, you'll only regret it if you sell it
