well I've been playing around with the idea for quite some time but not really being serious about it (just as well since the inquiries I've received aren't serious either
) but the time has come for the SS to go - I will be taking to car shows (if she hasn't gone by then) with the same objective and it is a crying shame but my pot to pee in seems to have gone as well
For sale 2000 SS Camaro in Black. New MoT. Why choose a common Z28 when you can have an SS for only £7,250 ono (you can't import even a ropey SS for that money - and this
isn't ropey!!)
The SS Camaro is a very rare beast in the US - over here there cannot be more than a handful so the chances of seeing another are slim to none. A further rarity point here is that this is a hard-top model rather than the more ubiquitous t-tops and so the body is a lot stiffer with correspondingly fewer rattles/creaks/groans. Condition wise it's good but 10 years old - there are some blemishes/scratches.
Just under 84,000 miles (134,500 km), the SS has an SLP bonnet (ram-air) and tailgate (part of the SS package). Interior is black leather with powered driver's seat, adjustable steering wheel, radio/cassette with 6 cd changer. 4speed automatic, cruise control. and the standard LS1 V8 engine (same as in the Corvette) delivers about 335hp and 345 lb/ft but will still hit 30mpg. Pretty much standard except for:
Anthracite wheels (normally boring silver) which colour match the anniversary stripes and dial set.
35th anniversary stripes:
Custom dial set
Parrot Mki9100 hands-free phone and mp3/iPhone/iPod player:
No silencers - this really does sound like a V8 should!
Rear tyres have been replaced (285/45/17 Michelin Pilots) and the front ones have about 3.5mm left (Dunlop SP sport D40 275/45/17)
The only reason I'm looking to sell is due to a change in my circumstances - please note that while I am happy to listen to offers this does not mean I am *desparate* to sell at any price so please no stupid offers.
If you want any further details or pictures please ask, also if you have any questions please feel free to ask
