Only selling as my car has the Cars & Concepts type T-Top.

Bought for my car by previous owner (hence I can't return item). These are brand new, but with opened packaging. Soffseal kit number 3191, which fits Camaro and Firebird 1982-1992 with FACTORY (Fisher-type) T-Tops.

Just listed on Ebay starting price of £165, buy it now of £250. Cost £350 new from Customville in March 2014 (never used).

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Camaro-Firebi ... 337836838?

Either bid or message me if you're interested.

Jon

I'm still getting over the shock of how much customville marked that up - it's borderline criminal. They are £81 from Summit, for the exact same one and Summit already have a profit margin built into that. Standard retail margin is ~35% so even if customville didn't buy from the distributor and bought from a retailer, they still marked it up quadruple :wtf:  I'll check the condition of my t top seals as it's a factory t top (well, technically there weren't any factory t tops, they were all done by a vendor) after leaving the factory, still can't work out how they did they paint though). They seemed ok but i'm sure they could do with new ones at some stage. Let me know how they get on, i worked out that i could get them in from Summit, with VAT and delivery for about £120. No rush, as i say i'll need to check the condition of the ones on there and of course, see what the interest is like for the ones you have for sale. Still can't believe how much customville want for them :(

You're right about the markup, I couldn't believe it either! Mind you, my C&C full set has just cost me over £300 all in from the US as they are much harder to get hold of

But how do you manage to get them for £81/£120 from Summit, do you get a massive discount? When I look on they are $186.97, plus minimum of $101.67 (i-parcel, other options have tax added...) shipping making minimum of $288.64 total. That works out around £185 at current exchange rates.....

http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/s ... /overview/

Mine are currently on at £140 including postage if there are no other bids so still cheaper than Summit from what I can see :-)

Go on, buy them. You know you want to

PS - Think Customville may be very overpriced in general. When I did my injectors I got 8 x standard injectors, intake gasket set and fuel filter. Cost me £502.......Could have got the same things from Summit for about £390 delivered  Not as much of an over-price as the T-Top seals, but enough of one! Tried Real Steel as well but they were quite rude about my car........

Sorry i didn't check back and realised that you've replied a couple of times :( When i searched for my car model it came up with a set for about $120 as well as the $180 one, not sure what the difference would be - with that price i worked out that no customs would be added and i couldn't get a price on the delivery, so i assumed $35 which i've found to be the average for a small package. Didn't realise i-parcel would be so mch :wtf: Still haven't had a proper check of the ones one there! Must check out over xmas time!

Don't worry, doesn't exactly look like mine are flying off the shelf anyway :eh: so are bound to still be around if / when you do want them

Pretty sure the cheaper ones are for non T-Top cars, just go around the doors on the hard tops

Let me know if / when you're ready. No worries either way :D
