It's on today and tomorrow at Santa Pod Great event ( if you don't know its for all makes and not just Mopars  )Europe's largest race meet for muscle cars only ! On Sunday the show and shine area will feature some of the best cars from the UK and there is lots more to see and a good range of traders

Hi Barry, went yesterday ( Sunday morning ) The track took a little time to dry out because of the very heavy rain Saturday night, but the sun and wind helped dry it and there was plenty racing as well as a lot of good cars in the Show and Shine section. Saw a very clean looking '70 Z27 ( orange ) currently on ebay as well as some more /later Camaros. Too many other good cars to mention. My favorite was a Metallic Blue'69 Yenko tribute ? Always a good meet, would be worth some of us trying a group run up there in the future ? Hope to see you back at The Goat

Planning on being at The Goat, weather permitting. Hopefully see you there. Pam asked if the Firebird was ready, I said probably not. She responded with a knowing chuckle. Women can be cruel.

My "imaginary car" has been out on a brief outlaw ride round my 'hood. She responded with a knowing chuckle. Women can be cruel. 1st time in 4 years...did it really take that long  Now insured but need to get the MOT and then arrange to get all the front end alignment set. So tell Pam it's very close but still no cigar  Very tempted to take it to The Goat, weather dependent, but probably not wise without all the legal niceties ... |
