Manx Yanks Auto Club are currently finalising the details of our part of an exciting period of Motorsport and would like to invite the Camaro Club to join us. (and you can meet me and Tim "Top Cat" Boles.)
Manx Yanks are putting on a "Drag n Drift" day on Sunday 5th September at Jurby raceway.
Duke Trackdays have a car only tack day on Saturday 4th September.
This all follows the Manx Grand Prix during the previous week, which is preceeded by the Jurby Festival of Speed, a classic/vintage motor cycle event.
The Drag n Drift event is being put on by Manx Yanks, and the Straightliners will be running the event from a technical aspect to make sure the drag racing is run in a professional manner. Drag racing is from 10am-4pm, when the track then gets turned over to the Drifters! For those of us old fogies, its putting your car round a circuit mostly sideways, something I'm sure most of you would appreciate! One sign on fee covers both events.
Why not make a weekend of it, come over Friday night, do the track day Saturday and Drag n Drift Sunday, boat home, sleep.
If enough interest is posted, a group deal on the ferry is possible.
