Thanks to new member camaropacecar for bringing this to our attention

Special treatment for going in your yank. I'll try and make it there, it would be a great debut voyage for my '79

Cheers!

I'm planning on going.. some great racing action .. Still a but unclear if we get in any easier/cheaper with an American car..

edit to add: jus re-read the link, so we need to email if planning on attending to get free entry and add the car to the display by the look of it..

Ye good point Stu, maybe worth forward planning on that, here's the wording re: yanks; (important parts in bold)

Owners of classic American cars are encouraged to show off their pride and joy by joining our extensive American Car display. Brands Hatch is delighted to offer a unique discount to enthusiasts who wish to bring their cars to the first American SpeedFest:
Free admission ticket for the car owner
Car pass allowing vehicle into a designated Classic American Car display area inside the venue
Opportunity to take part in parade laps around the circuit
Entry into a exclusive prize draw to win a Euro Racecar passenger lap, wave the chequered flag and observe all the race action form the stunning Directors Terrace viewpoint
Exclusive American SpeedFest sticker
Owners will also be able to compete for a selection of prizes in a show and shine competition to decide the best presented car of the American SpeedFest. To enter the Show and Shine competition, please click here.
If you wish to display your American classic, please contact James Caesley Tel: 01474 875311 or Email (take out the spaces): james . caesley @ msv . com

Looks like if you want to take advantage, email / phone James, to ensure you get the above stuff for free. Would be very cool to have some Camaro's grouped together and on the track together :)

They say so, but I reckon worth a phone call saying you emailed weeks ago.. ( )..

I'm still waiting for my tickets though.. And I'll probably convoy from Sth Mimms, even though it's the long way round for me..

Received my tickets for this already, I think the deadline for yank car owners to get in free and display has gone, but I saw they've extended their advanced ticket booking to 3pm today, so get on it if you planned on attending.

Anyone else going ?

Going by this year, if they do the free entry for yank owners I think it'll be seen as the big US car event of the year. Definately worth trying to work towards a club stand by then I reckon.. probably get more perks too
