So the garage has taken a beating over the past few years and i've got a week off quite soon, that should coincide with the Camaro being alive. So the plan is to gut the garage, give it a thorough clean and repaint. Any recommendations on floor and wall paint? The walls are brick and already painted in white but need a repaint, sticking with white for brightness. There is an area in the corner that needs some self leveling concrete, as it's quite ripply and makes cleaning up quite difficult. The floor is concrete but painted already, needs a repaint though, sticking with a light grey, not sure what paints are best to use for floors and wall? Seen some multipurpose paints, not sure how good they are though... could do with repainting the ceiling as that's wood.
Cheers!

I painted my garage floor with some kind of special heat resistant red paint that was supposed to survive contact with hot tyres... It didn't, there are big patches where the Mustang and motorbike tyres stood!

Not that it matters now as it is all covered in foam tiles.....

That's a thought, how bout some cheap lino, or vinyl tiles for the floor, if it's flat enough to start with.. much easier to keep clean..

I have to say i think tiles are a great idea if the floor is pretty flat. My foam ones are because I converted my garage into a playroom, but I am sure some more heavy duty ones would be ideal.

Since laying the tiles the whole garage is a LOT less dusty than it used to be too!

Thanks for the idea's and links, things like floor paint coming up / tyres leaving marks on them was the type of stuff i was looking to find out about so i would know what to avoid. I looked into the tiles and maybe my math is wrong but it would require about 400 tiles to cover the floor? which would cost £1,000  I hope i just missed a trick with the math side of things? Each square is 33cm x 33cm and the floor is 650cm x 750cm. I guess the benefit is that it will be less cold vs. laying on concrete in the winter. May also hold in heat better i guess. If that is the correct math though, i think i will likely have to stick with floor paint at about £40 for a 5 litre tin. Do like the idea of tiles now though.

Have you thought about getting the floor resin coated ?
