I'm getting down to the finer points now of rebuilding the shell of MLL 40L (Red Devil/Rampage) and have trial fitted the replacement correct 1969 dash as when I got the car it had a 67 dash panel grafted in. The dash fits fine to the bulkhead, etc. Installed the brake pedal / steering column support to check the fit and alignment of the bottom edge of the instrument panel and there is a very large gap (see the picture below). Am I missing a spacer bracket or what. Maybe the 67 dash panel also had a 67 brake pedal support but looking at the Camaro spares suppliers I cant see, as yet, that there is any difference? Does anyone with a 69 Camaro know what's wrong here and how I can fix it?

Here's a pic of the overall dash panel installed for reference. The panel is in the right place so I can only assume the pedal bracket is wrong?

Hi Raven68 unfortunately the pedal bracket / steering column and park brake on a 1969 are all different to the 1967/68

I thought that might be the case but why would they do all that for a one year change! Not a problem as I'll order over the parts from the US.
Some of the parts pictures I've seen for the 69 brake pedal support look the same as the 67/68 but I guess you cant always go by the pictures !
cheers buddy
