WELL IT STARTED OFF WELL THE OLD CONTROL ARMS /PANHARD ROD CAME OFF EASILY,FOLLOWED BY THE EXHAUST /TORSION BAR,AND THE PROP SHAFT. AT THIS POINT A BLOOD SACRIFICE WAS NOT REQUIRED THEN IT START TO GO A BIT PETE TONG WHEN REMOVING THE MAIN BRAKE LINE FROM THE FLEXI PIPE TO THE REAR AXLE ,IT SHEARED RESULTING IN THE FIRST OF THE MANY BLOOD SACRIFICES REQUIRED FROM THIS BEAST,WHEN THE AXLE WAS RELEASED THE SON'S SKATEBOARD HELPED REMOVE IT TO THE WORKSHOP (THESE AXLES WAY A TONNE) THE AXLE HADNT GIVEN UP YET RESULTING IN THE ANTI ROLL BAR CLAMPS NEEDING CUTTING OFF, THE REST OF THE BRAKE PIPES ROUNDING OFF AND THE ARRIVAL OF A FEW MORE GREY HAIRS ON MY HEAD AND A LITTLE MORE BLOOD LOSS FINALLY THE BATTLE WAS WON AND NOW THE HAPPY AXLE HAS BEEN PAINTED AND REFITTED ONCE AGAIN WITH THE AID OF THE SON'S SKATEBOARD

about 20 hours labour so far for the backaxle /poly bushing and rustproofing and under sealing i'm pleased with the job so far but i ve still got a long way to go i'm moving from the back to the front of the car . i'm still waiting to fit the control arms and panhard rod and am also waiting for the brake pipes to come through from us automotive and then i can manufacture new copper brake lines throughout the car. smiley took about ten minutes free hand ,it looked a bit plain without it |

well i've moved on to the front taking the wings and front bumper off ,giving me unrestricted access to my camaro's nether regions and i think iv'e chosen the right time to do it ,with only surface rust to contend with this should be a quick job.its quite nice not to find any holes that shouldn't be there Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: Attachment: [/color]
