Well after talking about it I took the plunge and ordered a Hotchkis TVS for my '68 8-) After a couple of days wait, it turned up and the car is going to get lowered :D I may have some bits for sale, one item for definite will be a new in the box with instructions, Hotchkis Max Sway Bar Rear Brace. I ordered one without realising it's included in the kit, so if anyone is interested I only want what it cost me, no shipping or duty, etc. You'll need to make your own arrangements to collect it, PM me if your interested. Please be aware only the brace is for sale, not the rear sway bar. Pictures will be posted as soon as I start installing it all.

I like it when big parcels turn up  I've been trying to get a front sway bar (1-1/8") over here for my '69, but it looks like no-one can supply one from stock, so it looks like I'm gonna have to get one in from the US direct. With the exchange rate as it is it's not looking good  Cheers.Nige

ps might be intterested in some of the stuff you'll be selling, let me know what it is, cheers

Your right, you need something closer to what I've fitted. I measured the original and it's about the size of a McDonalds drinking straw

More photos... :) While everything was off I took the opportunity to give the lower control arms a clean up and put drain holes in either side as well. I also found the inside of the front subframe was vitually rust free :) possibly a dry state car originally ?? I gave it a good squirt of waxoyl anyway (prevention is better than cure). Also upgraded the tie rod adjusters and put in stainless brake hoses.

All went well putting the front end back in :D but disaster when I pulled out the rear shocks. At some point in the cars life a previous owner had upgraded the rear to take 2nd generation Camaro shocks  and yes you've guessed it, I've got 1st gen shocks with the kit. So back on the phone to order the right ones which I'm hoping will turn up asap.

So thats now a rear anti roll bar brace for a 67-69 Camaro and rear KYB gas adjust shocks for a 67-69 Camaro with multi leaf suspension that I have for sale. Any takers ?
