The front fender was chemically stripped inside & out.There was some minor rust on the bottom which I cut out totally & fabricated a repair panel which was seam/hammer welded back in. I used lead then to metal finish the repair prior to a light skim of body filler just to get it spot on |

Checking panel edge alignment during door & fender repairs. The welded panel had been lead loaded prior to the light skim of filler being added. Normally this would be done on the car, but I didn't have the car in the workshop at this point. Cheers..Nige |

yeah sprayed it myself I used to own a bodyshop before I sold it, so all of the work is my own.
Will you spray it yourself? |

Here's a few pics of the front slam panel. It was very deeply rusted, but once back to bare metal I used a product by Bilt Hamber, that removes any traces of rust from metal prior to repairing & priming. cheers...Nige |
