Excellent links. That e-type didn't look as though there was much wrong with it though. I watched it without sound (because I'm at work) so perhaps I missed something important.

I'd love to give that lead loading a go when I get a chance.
No you didn't miss anything exciting, it generally talks you through the process. That's the problem with filler used over rust as with the E type, the moisture comes from behind (ooh er missus) . It only looks like a few small blisters to start with, but as the moisture increases the blister becomes bigger & full of water, until it pushes the filler off the metal. A lead repair won''t allow that to happen as it's non porous, cheers.....Nige

trial fit of the wheel & tyre. Once the suspension's dropped the wheel arch will cover the top of the tyre by about 1&1/2" -2". The wheels are made by Superlite & are similar to the Minilites used back on the Trans Am cars. The wheel centres will be painted a dark charcoal colour, with a polished rim, cheers.Nige

Your doors "Rampage" and before that "Red Devil" one of the best camaros around in its day.
69 pity John turned it into another pro touring when it had liveage on the track! still your gain to have that history.

I really used to enjoy watching the Red Devil Camaro at the Pod when it was running. Didn't he used to have a stable mate of a Nova painted the same? Only saw Rampage run a few times, but would like to see some pics of it. Yeah, it's a shame that we've lost another piece of our history by turning the car into a Pro Tourer, it would have looked well trick on the street as the Red Devil or Rampage.
My Camaro was used as a drag car for most of it's life (very low, original mileage on it). It was called "Heatseeker", it was repainted yellow with orange graphics. I'll try & scan some pics later & post them up, cheers....Nige

Yeah, the rear axles staying GM & the trans can only be a Muncie with a genuine, original Muncie shifter, lever & white gear knob can't it  Any idea of anyone that does a rebuild kit for Muncies? Post up some pics of Money Hungry it'd be good to see it again ;) Cheers.....Nige
