Thanks, that has helped. I've got plenty of time to think about it while I save up.

:D The car is now back and handles a whole lot better than the wallowy barge it was. I know on some USA forums the KYB gas a just shocks aren't popular because they give too "harsh" a ride. All I can say is they suit me perfectly, this is the UK where we like our cars to handle and I certainly prefer a harder (ooo eerr missus) suspension set up. If I go to bigger diameter rims and lower profile rubber then it will be teeth jarring but my old V6 Golf had really stiff coilover suspension, a slammed stance, front and rear ARB's with 19's and rubber bands for tyres. I loved it, the wife and kids hated it
You and I have similar tates..I too have a family shunned Porsche 996 C2 slammed on 19's. Talk about feel the paint markings on the road!!!! However I would love the Camaro to equal the Porsche handling and ride yet hook 1500hp of boost in a straight line. LOL!!!!!

Car Details:79' camaro road & track day toy. 383 stroker, 5 speed TKO trans, lots of suspension stuff, 13" Vette brakes, 18" wheels.
Location:Luton
I think the main issues with the KYB's were that they're just not great shocks, and the control isn't very good so the car will hop over bumps.. I use the Koni adjustables, expensive but well worth it and not too harsh (by comparison)

Another thumbs up for hard suspension - my Golf G60 is on Bilstein coilies, after a driving for a bit, have to sit and wait for a few hours for all my internal organs to get beck to their original places

P.S. Why are you not going to use the Hotchkis Max Sway Bar Rear Brace? it will add that bit of extra stiffness :)
