This is something that I was toying with doing on my '69 when I first started the build. I was going to replicate the Penske/Donohue '69 Trans Am Camaro race car, which had the 4 fenders stretched wider like this to accomodate the bigger wheels/tyres. http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=23832 I really like this look, if I ever went for wider tyres, then this is probably the route I'd take.
