Been thinking today about a couple of things.....................

How hard is the process to get an import UK legal-will it cost me thousands?

Do any of you run LPG conversions, IF i get mine done, do you think I should get it done here or UK?

All this thinking and I still don't know when she's coming!!

Oh, and whats the betting it'll sound crap standard :?:   :?

There are a couple of companies here that make import cars legal & from what I've heard the prices aren't extortionate. As to the LPG thing, I'm not really sure it's worth the money unless you're going to do an awful lot of mileage, as the cost of installation will take a long time to recoup compared the money you'd save on petrol. HTH, cheers.....Nige

Do it yourself, it's extremely easy and only costs the price of road tax plus £40 or so.

It does kind of depend on the age of the car, whether you're importing new, less than 10 years or over 10 years.

whatever you do, please research so you know your law. Everytime i go to MOT somebody fails it until i point out that fog lights are not compulsory for pre 1980 cars.
i know yours will only be 2 years old.... but i would hate for you to be sticking on those crappy addon yellow indicators just because your local garage did not know what he was doing etc

... tried soooo hard not to rant :-)
