Well, did my first show of the year at Billing this weekend. The weather was great, plenty of cars & an ideal setting. Met up with Dane (Danus), sorry if I was a bit incoherent but the Desperados lagers had kicked in by then . Also met with Kenny who owns the G Spot black 1st gen with white bumblebee stripe. I saw Tims blue '68 but couldn't find Tim, sorry mate. Hada good chat with quite a few other people who might well be joining in on the forum. Anyway here's some pics for ya,:- Kennys 1st gen, this car is absolutely gorgeous A nice 2nd gen This was a very clean 2nd gen, loved the colour. Pro street 2nd gen Unusual/rare colour on this 2nd gen. I like the factory 5 spokes Lewis' '68 with a great stance Tims car, again it sits just right Black '67 Nice '68 ragtop Danes car Satin black 2nd gen One for Steven, there was an Evil kit there as well, but didn't get a pic unfortunately. Jeez these 5th gens are big. It almost dwarfs that handsome guy standing behind it. Nice '69 'Bird. I have a soft spot for these as I had one as my fist American muscle car. This was a full restoration by the owner. It was in a rally bad condition when he bought it, but he did all of the work himself. Roll on next year cheers.....Nige |

Thanks for posting the pictures Nige - can't believe you missed my car! I was there on Sunday and had a good time walking around in the sunshine looking at some very nice Yank iron. I agree with Tim about the attendance, I have been at this event for the last 10 years and there were a lot less cars in attendance, and far fewer trade stands. Maybe a consequence of the economic downturn ? |

Mind you i was being pulled form one direction to the other as the wife spotted something she wanted to look at, so maybe that's how I missed a couple Cheers..Nige |
