Ok, so you've got the car of your dreams but it's not numbers matching so drivetrain originality isn't a concern. Given the choice do you fit a big block or a healthy small block in it? What engine choices would you make & why make that choice? To go with that what trans do you use, maual or auto? Cheers...Nige

Car Details:1979 Z28 with 1971 Z28 engine, 5 speed Richmond gearbox.
Location:St Ives, Cambridgeshire
My Maro has a 1971 z28 350 and Richmond close ratio 5 speed in it, what I would really like is a new 383 stroker (400bhp) and a trick TCI auto box.

Any particular reason for wanting 400 bhp, as the 383's can kick out an awful lot more & still be streetable, cheers.....Nige
