Speaking to the owner of my local garage, he mentioned that I might as well totally remove the A/C unit as compressor missing and not sure on the condition of the main unit; would replace with an A/C delete cover. Would this devalue my Z28? Should I replace the compressor? Should I leave as is for the next owner ( whenever that is) to make that decision? |

How original is your car? The more original it is, the more you should try and keep it that way. You could remove it and keep it, so if you/future owner wants to go back to original you can. |

Pretty original so you’re right, i’ll see how much it is to remove and keep the unit for someone else work on. I could change a lot but want to keep it as original as possible, also found out the it’s matching numbers engine although not checked on the gearbox. Thanks Jamie |
