Good test with interesting result I would have guessed that the X-pipe would have come out much better, but seems a simple H works almost as well . |

Yes your car does have a nice sound, aggressive with a good deep tone at low revs Sometimes it is hard to pick the right system even after listening to examples on the computer, in the real world they tend to sound different and also change on individual cars... I like the systems with the deeper tones, not too loud but not too tame either ,something in the middle ground of the Flowmaster range is about right . |

i had an H pipe added to mine a while back, and definitely smoothed out the sound, compared to solo dual system....... |

I was surprised to see how little power difference there was, having expected to see about 5 -10hp gains based on what's been written. Mine originally had straight pipes with cherry bombs and it had a great sound to it. Having put a larger diameter X pipe system in and headers, it's much quieter but seems smoother. |

I think its more torque scavenging than anything else.. |
