As it says really, would you up sticks & move to the US given the opportunity or not? If so what would be the deciding factors for you & what would be the things that might make you want to stay here? cheers....Nige |

YES. What time's the next flight? I'd go tomorrow, my wife is sort of keen to do it to, but won't leave her family...Mum/Dad/Sister etc. Maybe one day....big house, massive garage, and full of good old Detroit iron, and cheap parts! oh, and sunshine! |

Still coming up with all the questions Nige. If you'd have asked this question before I moved to Munich I'd have said yes but I cannot imagine life being that much better over there than here. I'd like to go for a few years to explore the country but I wouldn't give up Bavaria for it. |

Uh! Germany's full of Germans, how can that compare to the Good ole US of A?? If you'd have asked this question before I moved to Munich I'd have said yes but I cannot imagine life being that much better over there than here. I'd like to go for a few years to explore the country but I wouldn't give up Bavaria for it. "Don't mention the war, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it"....Basil Fawlty |

"Don't mention the war, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it"....Basil Fawlty I know what you're saying mate but I'm thinking about the family aswell. Is the US education system as good as the German ? Is it safer to live in the US ? Do they get as many holidays as Europeans ? Sure I love the cars and the weather and sometimes the people but I'd get quickly bored with all the nicey-nicey stuff, TV adverts spoiling my viewing every 5 minutes and their annoying, misguided sense of superiority. Enjoyed my holiday there (had an American girlfriend at the time) but would still rather live in Germany. |

I really like visiting America, have been more times than I can count, I could happily spend one or two months a year there but I love this green and plesant land even with its faults and can't imagine living anywhere else. |

Much green in Croydon is there ? I see plenty of other colours there but rarely green I too would fancy a couple of months a year in the states, a couple in the UK, couple in Spain, Australia for a couple and the rest here where I am. If only I could manage that somehow. Anyone know the winning lotto numbers for this Saturday ? |

How about becoming an F1 driver, they get a week in each major city/continenet, and a big wedge to spend when they get there, and a chuffin fast car too! (Not forgetting brolly dollys!) |
