I've always found interchangeable parts an interesting topic. I'm guessing with 4th gens and above it's possible that a lot of parts interchange with non Chevy cars? Thought this was a great example. Lambo headlights are the same as Nissan 300zx. What's crazy is how the price for the Lambo ones are $1,000 and the Nissan are $180, making it a +5x markup. Brand new garret turbo for a c220 Mercedes in a Mercedes labeled box is around £2000, same part without the Mercedes box is about half that price |
