I went on a roadtrip at the end of last year in the Southern states and started out in Charlotte North Carolina, where i went to my first NASCAR race. It was postponed by a day due to hurricane Matthew so i spent the day at the NASCAR hall of fame. Here's a load of pics, please look through the photobucket album as it'll take ages to add them one by on here.

If you've never been to a NASCAR race i highly recommend. The only exposure i've had before was a racing experience at Rockingham when i got to do 12 laps which was awesome, and then watching them race at Speedfest. They certainly have them tamed over here, a true NASCAR is incredibly loud. I was halfway up the stands and felt the engines rumbling in my chest when they were at idle in the pits. It was so loud when they were racing i had to have a headset on. I managed a couple of laps with no ear protection to get the full sound but it was so loud. Amazing.

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

That's pretty awesome. The closest I have seen was also at Rockingham and the ASCAR series that ran smaller versions in a race series around 15 years ago. Went there with co-workers half a dozen times and always enjoyed it.
