So when I got my insurance like many I went for a limited mileage policy, and chose 3000 miles thinking it would be more than enough! Well in the four months of owning it and two and a half of actually driving it I have already done well over 1500 miles! Looks like I may need to amend my policy soon! |

I decided to go for 7K this year as it is my first year of ownership, even though they tried to talk me down, and like you in the 4 months I've already done in excess of 1600 miles. It's just a fun drive at the weekends |

I have 5000 on mine... 100 miles a week. In the last 5 weeks I've done 1500miles... Most companies will increase it for you for a fee. |

I was basing the mileage on what I did in the Mustang, I think in my second or third year it was only 1000 mileage policy. Using the Z28 far more - but then it is far more comfortable and usable! Just got back from a trip to Somerset, followed by Cardiff and back again |

Remember you'll probably use it a lot less in the winter.. |

Ye i have the same with Adrian Flux, 5k policy but no declaration. They also tried talking me down to 3k saying it would be cheaper, but for a little bit extra it's effectively an unlimited mileage policy. |

I'm with https://www.rhspecialistinsurance.co.uk/ Limited to 3000 miles a year but there's no declaration. However; its just a weekend summer toy so I'll unlikely ever reach that. Also have recovery included in my policy |

I'm not sure they need declarations any more, as the mileage is recorded with MOTs. |
