Post subject:  Playing with colours
I'm a way off painting yet, but with the weather not allowing my much car time I've been pondering what colour to paint and mocking up some samples.

I can't take credit for the original picture, and my mods to are it a fairly crude, but I think they are good enough to give me something to judge on.

These are all based on me using the current hood scoop, painted white with two-tone blue stripes. The car is currently (was) closest to the top left, being all white except the scoop and without the trunk stripes.

I'm also undecided on roof stripes or plain.

What do you think of these combos on the possible list? With or without roof stripe?

Going to have a play now and change to a black scoop/stripe and maybe look at side stripes based on the original z28 stripes too.

Always good to have the end goal in mind :)

I'm quite a fan of the white one with the roof stripe. Don't think i've seen a white 2nd gen in real life before, so could be a nice one to differ from the crowd with. Post up some more creations when you get around to doing them :thumbup:

I agree you don't see many white ones and it is nice, but I am not a big fan of white cars. A nice metallic blue will always look great, same as a gunmetal grey, but no matter which colour I would go with a roof stripe!! :)

Not looking to change my car colour any time soon, but I was also looking at different colours. However now I have it in black I really cannot find a colour I like better!! :)
