I've done a this a couple of times in the past, and it's a good fun day and for chaaridddeee..!!!It's not a track day, but it lets you (with a charity contributing passenger) have a spin around the track. If anyone fancies it let me know....

From the organiser:
This years event is scheduled for the 12th July 2015 and is to take place at the usual venue, Castle Combe Race Circuit nr Bath. The event will follow the tried and tested format which is 2 or 3 laps of the circuit for each voucher, and is intended to be fun filled day allowing our Members and their Families / Friends access to a whole range of vehicles which you, our supports, kindly bring along for the day.
As last year, the event will be run in support of Teenage Cancer Trust with monies raised in the following ways:-
Selling Rides in / Drives of the cars you bring (Allowing others to drive your vehicles is totally at your discretion)
Raffle
Tombolla
Auction of larger prizes

Whilst the event is held at Castle Combe, it is NOT a Track Day, the circuit will be set out as a two way road network with round a bouts and pinch points to control the flow and speed of traffic. There will be a maximum speed limit although having said this we do allow you demonstrate the cars ability when on the road system so spirited acceleration is allowed.

The format of the day is as follows:-
Car Owners briefing to take place at 9.15am
Members briefing at 10.00am following which the event will start
Lunch break for 30 minutes at 12,30 following which the event will continue through to 4.00pm
The timetable is flexible and you are welcome to spend and much or as little time with us on the day as your diary will allow

At this stage I would welcome a commitment to attend the event along with confirmation as to the vehicle you are likely to be driving on the day. This will allow me to fine tune the list of attendees to receive final joining instructions a little nearer the time.

Kind regards
Hedley Pickstock

Yes basically, they buy vouchers at a few quid each or something and get rides in cars in exchange.

That's the plan for now.... get some underbody welding done, MOT etc.. look out for a cleaner car over next 12 months..

I missed this event, as I have been to best roof top bar nyc for a party organized by my cousin but my friend had been there and he told lots of good things about the event. I wish, I shouldn’t have been missed it.
