Couple of thoughts... found this place and the prices look very reasonable (UK based too!) i'm sure if they don't have what you need listed, you could email them and ask, provide specs etc. They may be able to order some in or make some up for you: http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-cat ... locks.html

Would i be wrong in assuming that you could make these / have them made? The place above lists the extended shackle bolts, so a set of those and then ebay search aluminium blocks. You could order a piece (maybe even to a custom size) and drill the holes, round the corners etc. yourself? So long as you buy the correct height, then you can cut the width and depth. Maybe use the U.S sites listed sizes to cut to.

I've found a surprising amount of metal stockists on ebay. Found rollcage material (made my own g-braces instead of buying abroad and paying through the roof for shipping and import duty). Found stainless steel tubing for the fuel lines, sheet metal, exhaust pipe etc. A lot of the places are fabricators selling on their wholesale stock which is pretty cool!

Maybe the second option isn't needed if the above place can hook you up, if not, then you have a DIY solution too

My car gets a set of American racing five spokes tomorrow so I will need to see how it sits. One issue is that the front struts may already be lowered, so visuals are everything. Cutting the springs does not seem to be a good idea!

I like the idea of milled rear lowering blocks. I live near Great Yarmouth where there are plenty of metalwork places because of the rig industry.

ah Great Yarmouth - give Flakmonkey a shout, he's not far from you and does metal fab. He has a 2nd gen and does some great work (check out his build thread in the 2nd gen section). I'm sure he can make you a set of whatever metal based things you need
