 Post subject: Dyeing seat belts...?

Location:Essex
Looking to colour my seat belts rather than buy a new set. The condition isn't half bad and as such I thought I'd dye them black (red at present)

Anybody covered this ground before and knows what to do??

Car Details:1980 2nd Gen, 6.0 iron block LS, 4.11 12 bolt axle, Brute Strength Posi, Lowered 2", sub frame connectors, G-braces, Carbon hood and front bumper cover

I did mine with the same stuff i used for the seats.... seems to have worked, though they could do with another coat.

Are you referring to Bradley s Liquid Plastic?

If so, I bought the plastic cleaner, prep chemical and paint the other week.
