So I finally got mine on some ramps and in addition to the front brakes it needs a new rear pinion seal, front and rear crank seals and has a small leak from the water pump as well as maybe a clutch release bearing , all in all not too bad for a 17year old car that has doubtless spent a lot of its life near the redline, it's all being done by a friend as my health forbids me from working on cars any more so happy days, plenty of track days for next year and the off to the "Ring" anybody else fancy it? Probably go to spa in the same journey

Sounds like fun... I thought the oil seals leaking got solved on the LS engines, early Chevy's are a bit prone..

I'm often doing track days, so I'll post any I'm intending one doing as usual if you fancy any too.. I would love to go the 'Ring, but been put off by the cost and the fact it's full of Clarkson wannabes now apparently.
Spa is fantastic, only 4 hours (ish) from Calais, and a brilliant track, shame I spent a very wet day there about 5 years ago.. :(

That would be awesome stu, I'm not a track day type person usually and prefer the drag strip but whereas in the 80's knowledge and determination were needed to go fast now it's just a case of money, plenty of people prepared to spend a lot on a fast car and I witnessed a new skyline last time that looked stock and ran 9's , it's more a bucket list pilgrimage thing going to the ring for me. Mine has the LT1 in
