im not tight and do regular voluntry work for charity but it pisses me off when people put on a car show and charge the displays for entry !! They expect me to clean and polish my car, fill it with £80 of fuel at my own expense and then travel to their chosen venue then pay them money so they can charge other people to come and look at my car, they expect me to pay £10 so other people can give them £2 ? next they will be taking the entry fees and investing them in some dodgy arms company and some tobacco shares.............................

I take it you won't be attending then lol
I do get what your saying, but we up paying for the likes of billing, santa pod,
Peterborough and so on. The only free show I attended this year was Stars n Stripes
at tatton park. Ok it was the cost of a stamp address envelope.
There's another show on near Northampton called Piston n Props.
