We didn't have school's down here back then, there wern't enough slates to go around, so from a very young age we were used for Farming because we were closer to the floor to pick things, then at 9 years old I was fixing washing machies, the early ones were wood and easy too work with, the electric that bites! came to our town, so I moved on to cart's then car's, then the Japanese won the car wars so as I got bigger and car's got small and the bl**dy electric witchcraft came in I'm stuck with old Yank's....... So should I have gone to school or are we still at school. And song! well we only have songs about the sea and Mining, NO RADIO that bloody electrickery again!! |

Yeh, I'd only just heard about computers - still think that was a bad day! All a personal thing but when a computer goes wrong no matter what spanners you have you cannot fix it. Do long for those days when a fix was twiddling screws rather than working out which bit of software was US. I know it's an age thing but those that were there know what I mean when I say that you set your CB & plug points with silver foil from the ciggy packet Well those were the days!!!!!!!! |
