What insurance company do you use or would you recommend?? I've always been insured with Aon for my Yanks, but have found that they've merged with Footman James. I used to pay £120.00 fully comp on my white T/A, what sort of premiums are being offered now?I'm gonna need to insure my '69 shortly, Cheers.........Nige |

I'd always been with FJ but just switched to Adrian Flux. DO NOT go with MCE unless there is a very good reason to do so! I had all sorts of trouble with them setting me up a policy for a Cadillac Allante (when I owned a Pontiac TransAm????) so all the details were wrong, and then when I came to question it they wanted more money, and when I told them to stick it, they charged me fees that they wouldn't give back. There is a very long thread on the Mustang Owners Club GB site about MCE and very similar issues, its like they give youa quote on any old car jsut to get your business, then when you want to correct your policy they charge you more. NOT HAPPY at all with them, and it takes forever to get through on the phones. There, said it, rant over!!!!! FJ or AF for me! |

I have been with Adrain Flux for years, they have always smashed anyone else's quote. I am currently insured fully comp with unlimited mileage with business use and 6pts (Not many companies would cover unlimited nor business). With 4 yrs Protected NCB its around £370. I can confirm the amount if anyone is further interested. Thats on a 98 Z28 convertable. Obviously every year you have to shop around when you receive their figure but its hard to find someone lower but they then guarantee to beat it so its worth it. They are very good on motor bikes also (a CBR600FS2 unlimited mileage I get for £100 through them). |

Always used Adrian Flux for a lot of cars over the years. Very competitive for yanks and classics and always been polite and helpful, unusual for insurance companies Also had probs with MCE so they wont ever get my hard earned cash Cheers.................Tim |
